U know…I know the enthusiasm is high…but try and take it slow and rest as much as u can. I was on this high too,4 months backwhen my second one was born, and the eagerness to get back to the blogging world…ended up making me hurt my shoulder in the process. Just rest for a good one month, and come back to tell it all.

Hi all: Thanks a lot for all your wishes. This is a very emotional moment for me to receive warm wishes from people I have not met. It means a lot! Thanks again!

poppins: Repeat C-section is something I opted for, as I was not willing to take any risk. Also, was not too confident about this hospitals infrastructure to perfom an emergency C-Section. Thanks to self-employment, this is about the only insurance we could get that would cover us 100%. I did have a placenta abruption last time, though that does not call for a repeat C-Section.
Regarding contractions, this countries medical system is so messed up, I feel docs are sometimes forced to do things around it. Anyways, docs point was that I should be in active labor. I was asked to time the contractions and show up when they were 6 minutes apart for 2 hours. The last few hours of labor was at midnight, I did not have the patience and energy to time them. H dosed off, When he woke up and timed it we realised it was 4 minutes apart and then rushed to hosp.

4sha: Thanks for visiting my blog. I know what you mean. Its only been a week, Monday - Friday went of like a breeze, thanks to Motrin keeping me high and D going to day care. This past weekend is when its starting to hit me. Will blog about this soon.

Really happy to read this post. Most child birth moments have some element of tension looks like! Every one goes thorugh some version of it…but the good part is everything turned out well and you are happy and home with two lovely girls! So nice – they have each other now. And nice to know D totally loves Dlittle (nice name by the way!). Sisters are the best! Very happy for you all…take care. Look fwd to seeing pics.

Congratultions!!! From my experience (I have a 7 month old D and a 3 year S), its harder second time around. So get lots of rest and enjoy yhe little one

Couldn’t understand why you had to labor so long if you were having a C-Sec? I understand the part abt going into labor, but why contractions for 20 hrs? Also, was there a medical reason for the second C-Sec or is it because they didn’t want to risk the VBAC?

Whatever, look at me going on and on when all that matters is that D2 and you are doing great

Dare we hope for some pictures? LOL at the Hindi during surgery and the Ferrari.
