Grainy?
Conversation with D this morning:
[D is sitting in the living room and I am in the kitchen fixing breakfast]
D: Grainy.
Me: [Fixing breakfast]
D: GRAINY!
Me: [Still fixing breakfast]
D: Mummy!
Me: Yes, beta. I am getting your breakfast in a minute.
[D walks into the kitchen]
D: Grainy[This time in a softer tone].
Me: What is Grainy betu?
D: Grain nee. You only Grain nee.
Me: What are you saying? Mummy cannot understand.
D: Grain nee. Grain nee. Grain nee. Your hair is white, look at, this side.
Huh? Granny? I need to hit the parlor!
[Edited: Writing this post got me thinking, where did she learn to associate white hair with Granny? ]

Viday Balan, rbdans, it took me a minute to realise what you were talking about.. !
Granny> Now you’ve got me thinking about the way you look rbdans

@poppins: Am deleting this gray hair post. Once I hit the parlor and color my hair, Julianne Moore it is!! And before you delete that comment of yours, I am taking a snapshot of it and framing it on my living room !

GRANNY :O …how old is D ??? Sorry but its quite hilarious ..hheheheh

Grainy, you’re reading too much to her. she’s getting all this info from books that she’s targeting at you. I suggest you ban her books before you dye your hair.

I have a one-word solution for you, lady – L’Oreal – because you are worth it!
But seriously, it’s funny how kids associate things…

Ask me! Ask me!
I have successfully inherited one trait from my father – Premature Grey Hair. Sigh!
They talk of aging gracefully, but I am not there yet. Time for me to hit the parlour too! Thanks for the reminder

God, before you pals brand me as a granny, I need to set the record straight. I just have countable grey hairs, seriously its a 2 mm radius completely grey. It has been like this for few years now. Don’t know the reason..

LOL!
I don’t think it’s a coincidence that I discovered my first white hair the day I came home from hospital with Moppet. I’ve plucked it and kept it along with her hospital wrist band as a momento!
[Reply]
@moppet’s mom: LOL! How much more funny can you get?
