whoa. make that double whoa.

STILL feel miserable when i think about my car, 3 months after we moved here. there were a bunch of CDs that we played incessantly in the car – i cant bear to listen to them now, gives me too much of a heart ache. i mean i actually feel physical pain in my heart.

i almost hate the guy who bought the car. i asked him to take good care of it, must’ve thought i’m nuts. i refused to look outside the window when he was driving off.

(ok i’ll stop now).

Wow! your girl remembers the authors name too!! I’ve somehow never told them to my son while reading him books. He is so fond of books and has tonnes of them. I think I should start telling him as well about the authors.

hmmm I guess we take what we have for granted. I felt the same pang when we had sold our first car. After that I decided to stay aloof. Easily said than done

I am very emotional about amny of my worldly possessions. And i was very depressed when we moved out of our previous city, even though our home is rented out and technically not sold yet. But I knew that it’s unlikely we’d ever come back to this home, where P was born, ever again. Same with the car, I feel. It probably drove home the feeling that the time to leave is near and it’s final. Hugs.

The feeling of finality? I think thats the reason why… selling the car drives it in.. that it is time to go! When we cold our car in India, all of us stood outside the house looking fondly at the car.. it was very difficult!!

I remember Choxbox mentioning the same when she sold her car.
